The Sharon Gun Club Member Handbook and Club Rules (the “Handbook”) is the only complete source of rules and regulations pertaining to the use of ranges at the club. The description included below is only a high-level summary of the more-complete set in the Handbook and users are advised not to use it as a complete source of information.

Member qualification(s) requiredRange Safety Course
Non-qualified membersOnly under direct supervision of a qualified member or instructor;
GuestsOnly under the direct supervision of a qualified member or instructor;
Boxing and unboxingOnly at the shooting benches. Firearms must face down range and be in a safe condition with actions open and magazines (and all ammunition) removed.
Reactive targetsOnly club-provided reactive targets are allowed. Do not rearrange, alter or move Range 5 targets without the explicit approval from the Board of Directors.
Additional restrictionsDo not staple paper targets to the framing timbers in the bunkers. Paper targets must be contained within the bunkers.
